Throughout her career the concept of ‘Ikigai’, the Japanese concept that marries passion, mission, profession, and vocation to create a holistic picture, has influenced each of Gabrielle’s professional endeavors. At IAS, she is fortunate to have achieved this concept in her role as Inclusion and Engagement Specialist. She is able to indulge in her passion of developing equitable and inclusive spaces within the tech industry while achieving her mission of making DEI a business imperative and core value. In her constant effort to seek avenues to strengthen her skillset, she has received her certification in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.

Outside of work, she is an active AdFellow alumni, serving as a mentor to current fellows and ensuring people of color remain top of mind for board members. She also enjoys learning about other cultures through film and literature and makes a point to push herself out of her comfort zone by being a constant learner. As her career continues, Gabrielle hopes to become an innovative and influential leader and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion within the tech industry, helping illustrate a more colorful picture in a monochromatic industry.
