Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Spanish Harlem, Marie brings authenticity, passion, and a strategic mindset to her leadership, empowering others and fostering innovation.
As Head of People at Ogilvy New York, the flagship office of the global creative agency, Marie leads cross-departmental partnerships and spearheads critical initiatives in Learning & Development (L&D) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). She recently launched JUMP, a groundbreaking retention and learning program designed to build a more inclusive and connected culture for diverse talent while also preparing the next generation of leaders to step into key roles.
Prior to Ogilvy, Marie spent 25 years at McCann, where she helped create and shape the AdFellows program from the ground up. This innovative rotational fellowship for BIPOC talent, developed in collaboration with Verizon, has since become a benchmark for nurturing diverse talent and advancing inclusion within the industry.
